Products

is a partnership dedicated to sourcing proven environmentally-sustainable products and solutions from around the world.

Our partnerships range the globe. In regards to the Sugarcane Bagasse EarthPallet, we have invested in proprietary technologies patented in the European Union, the USA, and India. We have modern factories in Maharashtra, India that house excellent testing facilities and an engineering department equipped with sophisticated machinery.

Through innovative alliances with the Sugarcane Technologists Association of India and the Indian Sugar Mills Association – the oldest and largest industrial organization in India, Solas Global Solutions has secured long-term options on bagasse agricultural waste as a feedstock for the manufacture of pallets to replace wood.  The Indian Ministry of Environment and Forests has encouraged through developmental loans and grants the creation of an industrial base for bagasse specifically as a manner to lessen the pressure on forestry and land degradation, particularly in indigenous reserves.  An enormous amount of wood is used for the short-term needs of pallets in the modern economy. The use of Bagasse as an alternative to wood has huge environmental advantages representing an advance of the goals of the Circular Economy.
